About Surfer Element
Surfer Element is a booking service based in Tamraght, Morocco. We work with three independent surf houses, SurfsHUB Tamraght, Cactus Surf & Skate House and Hakuna Matata Guest House, and help travellers book a stay at whichever one fits them, in their own language, with a single deposit.
We are not a surf house ourselves, and we don't run the surf program at any of the three. Each house is independently owned and run; we handle the comparison, the booking, the payment, and being on the ground in Tamraght to help if something comes up during your stay.
Who pays us
We're upfront about this: Surfer Element is paid by the three houses listed on this site, and we represent only them. We don't claim to be an independent directory of every surf camp in Tamraght. There are more than twenty, and we only work with three. What we do promise is that the information we show about each one — the scores, the guest-review themes, the "good fit if / not a fit if" lines — comes from real, dated, sourced data, not from what a house would prefer we say about it.
How we chose these three houses
All three are in Tamraght itself (not neighbouring Taghazout, which some listings confuse it with), run the same surf program at the same price, and have real, checkable guest-review histories on Booking.com. What differs between them is the day-to-day feel of each house, which is exactly what the comparison page andthe fit check are for.
What we actually do
- Compare the houses honestly, using real Booking.com scores and paraphrased guest-review themes, dated and linked to the source, never our own marketing description.
- Take a 15% deposit on this site when you book, so you don't have to juggle three different booking processes.
- Keep your price locked in once you book, even if that house's own direct price rises afterward.How the price lock works →
- Have a real, in-person presence in Tamraght, not a booking platform based somewhere else. We greet guests and help arrange transfers, including the airport pickup that's included in every package.
- No fixed office hours. Airport pickups happen whenever a flight lands, so instead of posting opening hours, we're reachable by contact whenever you need us.

This site is published in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch. Our own team communicates with guests in English or French. Some house staff speak additional languages; see each house's profile page for what's actually confirmed, rather than assuming.
